Step 2. Choose a Memorial Style

The main three factors effecting price are: memorial size, shape, and color.

Memorial Uprights

Memorial uprights are the most common memorial style. Memorial uprights consist of two pieces of granite; the upright portion and base below which sit on the granite foundation.

Common Memorial Upright Sizes:
Two Individuals:
4’L x 6″W x 2’H
3’6″L x 6″W x 2’H
3’L x 6″W x 2’H
One Individual:
3’L x 6″W x 2’H
2’L x 6″W x 2’H
1’8″ L x 6″W x 1’8″H

Memorial Slants

Memorial slants are a budget friendly alternative to memorial uprights as the base below is optional; they generally sit directly on the granite foundation.

Common Memorial Slant Sizes:

2’L x 10″W x 1’4″H
1’8″ x 10″W x 1’4″H

Memorial Benches

Memorial benches can be created with or without a back support or arm rests. We can also create a fully custom memorial bench.

Grass Markers

Grass markers have a level top that is engraved on and are placed flush with the grass. A core hole or bronze vase is an option for flower placement.

Common Grass Marker Sizes:
Two Individuals:
5’L x 20″W x 4″H
4’L x 20″W x 4″H
3’L x 20″W x 4″H
One Individual:

2’L x 1″W x 4″H
20″L x 10″W x 4″H

Bevel Markers

Bevel markers are similar to grass markers as they are viewed from above although bevels sit directly on a granite foundation. The back portion of a bevel marker is raised higher than the front creating a small taper.
